For those of you who live in SF and are giving an "Eh" reaction to Gamestop: you have to realize that the OP is from Huntsville, AL where there is, to my knowledge, only one thing that even remotely qualifies as a gamestore (Bookmark) and it really is nothing special. Gamestop's stock is about 10x that of Bookmark. Although, I will admit that when my wife and I went on our honeymoon 3 years ago it was much better than when we went last year for a confrence. Mainly 'cause we found things there that we couldnt get around here at the time (she has always been into Shadowfist which they had a lot of our first trip) but that seemed to have changed in the last few years. Probablly do to better managment and variety of the B'ham FLGS. As it always does, the shrink wrapped books did bother me. Would have loved to get out to some of the places outside the city but we just never did. But if the OP has limited time and just wants to go to a store with better selection than he gets at home Gamestop will work for him. Unless of course he is outside the city proper anyway, in which case he should try one of the others.
Oh, and yes we know it is a foodie town. Thats really the reason we went in the first place. And everything from good cheap food to great expensive food. On our honeymoon we mainly ate, looked for game stores and comic shops, ate, went to museums, ate, and....stuff.
