So, which style of play do you lean towards?

While unlike tom i have no problems catagorizing myself, I don't find any of the terms to fit. I'm casually simulationist -- I enjoy making the world believable and 'rich' even in ways I doubt players will notice -- but that's not the primary reason I play or design my world.

I would have chosen Gamist before reading the article, but after reading I wouldn't dream of it. D&D is one of my few escapes from an otherwise highly-competitive life for me. I don't find myself competing with either the NPCs or the other PCs.

I disavow any trait (taint? :D) of the narrativist perspective.

I'm a GM, principally for Paranoia and Call of Cthulhu.

I guess that my style of play, then, would be "sadist".
