Gary Achievements

We now have all these neato achievements. In the same vein of the 'power level gary' thread, I was thinking, shouldn't we bestow some achievements or special awards on Gary Gygax? Maybe a special 'Founding Father' achievement? Any other thoughts?

Similarly, other, more recent authors / contributors to the game / genre could also be given some achievement / award so they are recognizable to the general audience.

Just an idea...

I think it shows a bit more decorum to mostly let his account be, rather than trying to decorate it after he's gone.

Technically speaking, due to how the achievements are structured, Gary has obtained these appropriate achievements:

Democratic Reformer
Master Scribe

I assume that if everyone were to give him 1 exp on July 27th, then he might become epic (Exp level 20?).

Sure. I was just responding to your comment, which I understand to be a common act in these fandangled internet fora.

FWIIW I thought the sentiment was actually kind of sweet, even if the idea was arguably misguided, and hence felt the assertion that it was macabre worth questioning. Of course, your feelings are entirely valid, but often people reconsider their opinions when offered a different point of view.
