Gary Con Registration

Greetings,

As you may know, Gary Con will take place in Lake Geneva WI at the Legion Hall on 7 & 8 March, 2009. My friends, family and fellow gamers are gathering to remember my Dad and his life's work by engaging in what he liked to do best -gaming! It is two days of open gaming with some of the original designers that shaped the industry. So far, Tim Kask, Jim Ward, Frank Mentzer, Rob Kuntz, Tom Wham and Ernie Gygax are scheduled to attend.

Gamers are a great group of people. Thus type of comraderie is not found in many places. I sure hope that you both make it to Gary Con! I will see if I can negotiate with a hotel to get a reduced rate for Gary Con. I will post up if I can make something happen.

For those of you looking for a hotel, I've stayed at The Plaza before. The rooms are decent, the owners are nice, and it is very nicely priced for being so close to the lake. It is about a 15 minute walk from there to the Legion Hall.

Lake Geneva might be the only town in Wisconsin where you can pass 4 consecutive intersections without seeing a bar or liquor store, BTW.
