Gaseous = incorporeal?

Is being in gaseous form equivalent to being incorporeal? The spell description just says

"The subject and all her gear become insubstantial, misty, and translucent."

There is no mention of that 50% miss chance and such. I'm thinking that gas is indeed corporeal, but I wanted to check.

Yer correct. A gaseous being is not incorporeal.

Notably:

They recieve no miss chance. The spell Gaseous Form lists the defensive qualities assumed.

They cannot pass through solid matter, but can pass through openings that are not airtight.

They can "fly" sort of, but bear in mind that wind speed is a factor.

They cannot go underwater.

There's others, but that's a starting point. Two very different statuses.

I beleive they are considered to have DR of 20/+1 as well. Other than that there is no protection from attacks other than avoiding it using the benefits granted by the spell.

By the book they are indeed diferent. IMC instead of the +1/20 DR I give the 50% miss chance for magic weapons, touch spells, and range touch spells. Never miss targetable spells and AoE spells work normally.
