In the case of contemporary Marvel, being beaten over the head with shapeshifters and the multiverse at the same time makes it hard for me to take the movies seriously.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">The recent D&D movie was a lot better than I thought it would be. Hugh Grant did a fantastic job as the villain. A few small things were a little bit hokey, but I was able to laugh at it, and it seemed like it captured the feel of playing the game. I thought the encounter with the fat dragon was a a good way to make an encounter interesting.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">I don't understand the appeal of Critical Role. </li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">I'm not sure if I'm still a Star Wars fan. I'm not saying that as any kind of hipster hate or anything like that. Recently, I had the realization that I'm not at all excited about the new shows coming out. I don't feel negatively toward them; it's more that I have apathy toward the brand. That makes me a little bit sad, but I don't feel the need to watch things that I don't want to watch simply because it has a brand name that I once liked. </li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">Sometimes I'll use character portraits and the randomly generated heraldic devices from Crusader Kings 3 in my tabletop sessions.</li> <li data-xf-list-type="ul">This is the first console generation during which I haven't upgraded.
