Of course its possible that there are attractive girls playing D&D and other roleplaying games. I mean, my wife plays. (Although I got her into gaming after we met, so I don't know if it counts.) My point was, why would a cute single girl who loved Dungeons & Dragons need a dating service? Especially one that was targeted at geeks. Wouldn't they be knocking down her door for a chance to take her out?
No, until Leo12 drops by my house and shows me her twenty-sided dice, I refuse to believe she is a real person. Well, I refuse to believe that the ad in question is legit, anyway. She's obviously a real person.

Hey guys, really cute girls do game, and are geeks!
Hey guys,
I met my current girlfriend online (at matchdoctor.com), and she's incredibly intelligent, a complete knockout, is into gaming, loves horror and sci-fi movies (the Evil Dead movies are her favorites), loves video games, and is so jazzed about Blade 2 this weekend she's driving me nuts!
I think all of us in the past have met some girl we really liked, but when it was known we were gamers (or geeks, or whatever), they turn tail and run. Don't give up too soon guys- Leo12 and those other girls might actually be real! It happened for me- it can for you guys too!

Only minor problem with the young gamer girls.... I'm over 30, and dating someone under 25 feels a bit, well, wrong. I Suppose I could E-mail the younger ones, but that just makes me feel like a letch. Okay, so I wouldn't mind going out with someone as long as they are 21+ and were reasonably mature. But I can just see her face, "You're how old? Ewwww, and you thought I would be interested why?"

I have a good brain, am pretty funny, have several nice qualities. But I really have no goals beyond enjoying myself, so the girls would be better off to stay away.

I don't think she can tell behind the scenes stuff. Sometimes cute geek girls are just cute geek girls. Sometimes, they're even not gamers. (You'd be shocked the number of attractive, proudly nerdy girls I know who haven't taken up the dice for one reason or another. Some have even wanted to, but haven't had the chance. I've tried rectifying that, but some of them live too far away for me to invite over.) Horrifying, I know, but sadly we live in a far from perfect world. Of course, what she tells is her call now, so I won't presume to put words in her mouth.

Amazingly, I too have a girlfriend that plays D&D avidly. Her entire family are gamers actually, lol. We met on Everquest nearly three years ago and we've been living together for over a year now and it's been wonderful. So, guys, keep looking, they are out there!
