Geeks Cubed is Looking for Monsters

[Jon Geeks Cubed]

Geeks Cubed is taking open monster calls to include in an upcoming book. The monsters we are looking for are unusually undead, normal creative creatures that could be found in any forest, lake, plain, desert, or mountian. We are also looking for Demons, Demonic and Magical Monsters.

Submissions should include a general description of the monster and abilities. Each submission will be looked at and will be responded to within a week. If chosen it will be placed in an upcoming book. Artwork for monsters will be considered, but response for artwork takes up to four weeks. Submissions or questions should be sent to jon@geekscubed.com

We apologize for notice, Submissions will not be owned by Geeks Cubed, LLP. The Book will be mostly (75%-85%) open source material. Monsters submitted will be adapted to fit in to the Pantheonic Dreams Universe. Artwork and story points, will be generated for monster picked from submissions. The Creator will be given credit for the monster as well as becoming a first choice for Geeks Cubed, LLP to go to for future products (Spells, Adventures, Book Sections, Ideas). We apologive for the notice earlier as that was part of a first round draft and was added by accients. I will answer any other questions prompt.

Greetings. I would like to contribute an idea for your monsters open call. Do you have a particular kind that you would really like to see. I enjoy dragons, demons, shapeshifters, and some mythology-influenced creatures. Will be in touch with you.

Thanks to everyone for submitting. We have begun to receive some interesting creatures. We like what we are getting an already plan on using a few. We hope to keep seeing more in the next few week before we start making decision on which will be included in the First Ecology of Canton Book

Author's copies for accepted submissions? Or will it only be credit and no form of payment? Will the book be pdf or print?

Copies of the books may be offered at a reduced cost. Books might be offered if we use your submission inanother way. For example one of the current submission would work better as a monster in an adventure then as a one for the book. The Book will be in print with a "plans" (nothing solid) for a PDF about four monhts later.

Since most of the monster information in the Ecology of Canton Book Vol1 will be open source we are only giving credit. Again this depends on how it will be used. All Submission for the book will be Credit only Though.

Other points. In the orginal post it makes it sound like we are only looking for Undead. We are also looking for normal but creative creatures to populate other areas of the Pantheonic Dreams world of Canton. We don't want to see many rehashed ideas from other books, and histories. We are looking for new monsters. Too many books have creatures that are to powerful, not able to hit, useable only in one area of a specific world, Some ungodly creation that doesn't make sense. and just a recreation of mythology.

Animals and monster that levels 3-12 could fight. Intellegent Creatures that don't kill you with one or two hits. Many people just made the creature bigger and put wings on it. (I admit we are doing this for one monster, But we have a reason)
