Gen Con Event Sales Go Live April 26 at WWW.GenConGameFair.com

Does anyone know if they are still going to mail the book?

Everything I have clicked on has been "product not available".

I was an "Early Bird" register - so now I lose that "first dibs" status ?

I will be irked if I don't get in any games.

Did you Log On to the store? You have to do that - AND log on to the same account that you used to buy your Admission Passes before it will show you any information about events and let you purchase event tickets.

And yes, those of us who registered in Feb are on the same footing with people just registering now. Plus we still have to stand in line to get our event tickets........

This might be saving WotC the cost of printing the books, but it is not saving us an darn thing.

Well, I didn't sign up for that...but I am running it!

The Taking of Giant's Reach!" - Six D&D3E/d20 players will take pre-generated characters and assault an ancient Giants' Stronghold, now occupied by an unknown evil and minions. An adventure of 7th level characters.

I'm annoyed. I put in for the Thursday 2pm slot and was in my cart. But when I checked out, it was gone. Someone sniped it out under me.

GRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!

The thing that irked me was not having the descriptions in the downloadable file. I downloaded and converted to Access to simplify finding things since the sort options availible are near worthless and found that descriptions are only availible if you are logged in and click each event seperately. Also where is the search by event number so I can quickly use the info from the download.

The thing that I was thinking would have made all of this bearible is if the download had been posted a few days ahead and with descriptions. Then I could have spent some leasurely time browsing and only have to spend 5 minutes on the site purchasing.

For thoes interested in playing in a few D&D games while at GenCon 2002, I'm running three games.

Friday 5:00 PM - A Night to Prey (Dungeon Crawl)
Saturday 2:00 PM - Position of Power
Sunday 10:00 AM - Unearthed Evil

Anyway, I hope to see a few of you there.

Cool, Same here Mark!:D

I've heard now that my slots are sold out, which is good in one way but I just hope that more ENBers have had the chance to sign up. We'll see how it goes! :D

Also, I noticed that you have had to purchase badges in order to sign up for events. I bought two badges as a surprise for my gfriend and we are planning on getting involved with events. What is she suppose to do? I email WoTC hopefully they answer, but I am worried that I will be the only one to be able to sign up for events, which would suck.

Did you ever get a reply? I sent them 2 e-mails about the very same problem and have not heard back, and some of the events my husband and I want to attend together are filling up. (Stupid store only lets you buy one ticket per event.....):(
