also someone once posted an add for a "battlepack" or something like that. I travel to do my gaming and have no good way to carry large mini's(ie dragons or giants). I want somthing that I can carry my dragons to the game without fear that the wings break. Guess I have wimpy dragons. Any ideas?

There was a company at Origins that had a killer display of very nice cases....I am sure they will be at GenCon.

My friend Andy Lucas is the brains behind Charon Productions, the maker's of the BattlePack (whihc by all accounts a wicked piece of gear).

Our big Gen Con release, as already mentioned, is NYAMBE: AFRICAN ADVENTURES.

In fact, it's supposed to be delivered to our warehouse tomorrow. Gahh!! The suspense is killing me!

Our UNKNOWN ARMIES 2nd Ed game is also a recent release -- our booth actually did have that at Origins (thanks to the miracle of Next Day Air delivery). Plus OCCULT LORE is barely a month old, so that should do pretty well, we hope.

Speaking of which, if it is possible, our booth gurus who are off to the San Diego Comic Con (coming up later this week) have asked me to rush them some copies of NYAMBE, assuming we do indeed get it tomorrow.

Random exciting news: It looks like we'll be putting a NYAMBE adventure on the schedule as a follow-on release, possibly for release as early as November.

I was impressed with the Nyambe PDF file, so I am looking forward to the book. Can you tell me who did the art work for the book?

Teflon Billy, will Charon Productions be at Gen Con. I know someone who could really use that BattlePack?

It is a little more than a week before Gen Con starts. I want to see some serious self promotion here.

We will have the brand-spankin' new 128 page mega adventure the Banewarrens out and for sale.

We also have a bit of a special GenCon surprise that should appeal to a lot of those people who frequent my website. We're going to have for sale a very limited supply of "I Survived the Orc and Pie" shirts. It's even got the entire Orc and Pie adventure (including the map) printed on the back of the shirt.

(I know, I know, some of you are tired of hearing of Orc and Pie, but this shirt is for the rest of you...)
