GenCon makes Indianapolis news

Brown Jenkin

First Post
I finally saw ny first article on GenCon coming to Indy. This article was on the front page of the Sunday Arts & Entertainment section of the Sunday Indianapolis Star.

http://www.indystar.com/print/articles/1/059215-3581-062.html

In the paper the Article was wrapped around a 3/4 page picture of a Undead Sphinx miniature from the game "War Gods." There were a couple other pictures with the continuation of the article including a chariot miniature and a full miniature layout of the Egyptian setting "War Gods"

It was mostly good but it seamed to focus alot on people dressing up in costume. The only real factual error was that they listed the dealer room hours as the Con hours.

Oh no!

Using dentist and jeweler tools, employees of FitzPatrick's Indianapolis-based company, Crocodile Games, designed and sculpted the one-inch models of Egyptian and Greek mythological characters out of epoxy putty for their War Gods games. The figures are then cast in pewter and mass produced in Jonesboro. Their booth will feature demonstration games and painting of the miniatures.
I like the minis (at least the ones in the pictures). I'm gonna have to rob a bank to buy everything I want at GenCon this year! :(
