I know it's just getting started. I'm curious what other news bit and product previews people are seeing at GenCon. With all the 4E buzz, I'm sure many of them will get drowned out and lost in the shuffle.

What else is happening?

One bit I found on the web that was probably announced at GenCon (or will be), George R. R. Martin has said that Green Ronin is creating a Wild Cards RPG.

Okay, there's a game I'll definitely be buying!

I'm a HUGE Waild Cards fan. I have all of the books.

I used to, but sold them in the last year.

As George points out, this is an interesting circle as the series grew out of a Superworld campaign.

"The Great Pendragon Campaign" won the Diana Jones award. Even though I never played Pendragon, I know this was richly deserved.

A few tidbits from ICV2

Wizards of the Coast plans three Star Wars Miniature Game and six Star Wars RPG releases in 2008. Releases for the first part of the year have already been announced.

A WotC spokesperson did reveal that it will release a set based on the upcoming Star Wars animated TV series (clips from which were screened at the recent Star Wars Celebration convention, see "Star Wars Has Blow-Out 30th") when it airs.

No decision has been made on future releases for the Star Wars Miniatures--Starship Battles fleet game that debuted last fall.

Margaret Weis Productions has expanded its Serenity license, and will release three Serenity RPG products next year. Early in 2008, it will release a collection of short adventures; late spring brings Six-shooters and Spaceships, a ship and technology sourcebook; and the Big Damn Heroes Handbook is slated for next summer, probably as a GenCon release.

The new version of the very first published adventure scenario, Dave Arneson's Temple of the Frog, was released by Zeitgeist Games over the weekend at GenCon.
