In answer to the question, no, I will not attend GC Online.
Any announcements/news? I'll hear about them anyways.

See, if I'm not going on vacation? Then I've got real world things to do & on Thur/Sun evenings real world games to play.
But this year I won't be 2 hrs late for the Sunday game & stiff from a 4-5 hour drive.

Just got the event-reg. email - they ARE charging US$2 for most events with some of the proceeds going to a diversity charity (didn't read closely).

Yeah, I saw that. It looks like some folks will cover costs with a fee. We'll see in July, but I'm guessing there will also be plenty of folks just doing panels where they point a camera at a chair and a table and talk about their upcoming projects and the like.
