GenCon SoCal 2005

Im so stoked!

I just registered for GenCon Socal 2005 tonight, along with a bunch of RPG events!

I've been wanting to go to a GenCon since I was like 12. A long long time ago...

Anyway - Who else is goin?

I'm thinkin mebbe an Enworld related PartaY or Disneyland Raid might be kewl! Mebbe, I'll bring a blender and some mixed drink goodies!

Anyone have any good ideas on meeting up there?

Any enworlders running events there?

Check out the forums at www.gencon.com There are parties and all kinds of stuff planned. You'll find a much warmer reception over there.

And for what it's worth... There can be only one true GenCon and it's Indy. I have been going to Gencon Miluakee/Indy for years. I have also attended SoCal twice. It's like comparing a BMW to a Yugo. Well maybe not that harsh, but you get the point.

SoCal is great. I am going this year, but nothing on the planet compares to Indy.

I'm going, but my schedule's pretty well booked with RPGA stuff (Living Arcanis and Living Death on Friday, Living Force all day Saturday, Living Greyhawk on Sunday morning).

Having gone to GenCon Milwaukee / Indy for many years, I'm looking forward to a, um, less enormous experience.
