GenCon UK - Just How Good?

Hi folks,

GenCon UK is coming up in October and I'm thinking of dropping in. Anyone here 'done' a UK con before? How good is it likely to be? How well attended? How many here thinking of going?

This year it's at a new venue with (I believe) new management. It's a bit out of the way for me and I wasn't planning on going.

I went to all the UK GenCon's at Olympia. The last one was disappointing but otherwise they were OK. Personally, I prefer Dragonmeet but that isn't until December and is only a one day event.

Even though I'm not a wargamer, I found that the last Salute con at Olympia was considerably better than the last GenCon: more trade stands, more cool stuff to see/buy and more people.
