I'm (obviously) not a judge, but I believe Psionics and Magic are different and so, in the example you gave, you wouldn't be able to detect magic. Official ruling?

Well technically they don't. But it does beg a good question. When I DM at home I usually house-rule that they over-lap, if only to make things less complicated. So my gut instinct is to allow over-lap, but RAW it's a no-no.

Stonegod? Have you already ruled on this?
