It isn't intelligent design--I'm rolling these randomly ;)

I know, I remember well enough the hiatus table of wild mage to tell most of them come from there if not all (not sure if you use an altered version or not).

The hiatus table? Oh, I guess that's the translation for wild surge?

Probably, I had teh book in French... hiatus is the name in French, never really knew the name in English, except it is crazy effects that have resulting in a game as something just unbeleivable: a wizard had cast three ray of frost that end by a summon monter (and we summon a demon), and two Gates (first time, a dmeon stared at us but didn't had the chance to cross it, but the second time, the wizard use it against a mid-strength demon and she gate a major demon who quickly flee the scene... Great, we got rid a medium threat for the city and unleashed a major one... :heh: )

Yep, that Gate had a 50% chance to be window-sized and a 50% chance to be large enough for something to cross :] And you also summoned a fiend, so you got both of those results this time too :D

Any new Adventures for 1st levels coming?

Hey Living ENWorlders, there's a buncha us first levelers hanging about in the tavern. Does anyone have an appropriate adventure cooking? Well, come on down to the Red Dragon!

I've been potentialy cooking a Psionic related adventure, but I need A) 3-4 psionic characters of some kind, and B) Time to actualy write and run it. B actualy being more of a problem at the moment.

I've been thinking of running an adventure of some sort. There seems to be a demand for DMs. But I, also, have little time to spend on the responsibilities of DMing. When exams are over (3 weeks!) I'll be able to start something.

Once the Tournement will be finished, I will probably run at least one new adventure... I had three potential in the back of my mind, but the dissapearance of some player (DH and Verbatim) have make two of them mostly unlikely to be run unless they reappear before teh Tournement end.

But teh tournement is asking me enough time like that, running two or three thread at a time for 6 to 10 players at a time and all in a relatively same timeline... an headache :p

A doesn't seem to be a problem (there are a few floating around and a few more coming). Xir was waiting for that. If you think it won't come along soon, he can take off on other journeys.

Just as a heads-up -- I've also got an adventure planned, and it will be for first-level characters (low risk, low reward, high roleplay), or for performers of any level. But I'm not sure when I'll be ready to run it, so don't wait for me.

Timing of adventures is hit-or-miss. Some times we get a waiting list of adventures; other times, like now, a waiting list of PCs.
