Hmm... I've never really thought about it before. But I would assume that it's all sort of... OGL. So I don't think you could sell any of it...
Stuff in the public domain is sold all the time. I figure someone could sell copies of LEW rules, though it'd be silly.

If someone does a home campaign based on LEW I think it would be interesting if they posted updates in story hour so we could see how things are used and the reactions of the characters and such. Not to critique, I just think it would be interesting to see how proposals and material unique to LEW works.

I guess if I really wanted to sell a book that included LEW material, I'd contact the original creators for permission beforehand assuming they are the copyright holders (not necessarily quite as clear as it might be).

And yeah, I'm back and playing catch up.

KO, you havn't meiss much in Crux of the Matter. You are still dead :p But we are working on a way to ressurect you. Still less worst than Hogarth who have been Soul Trapped...

Considering that I somewhat expected to return to a TPK... :p Then again, I somewhat hoped to return to a destroyed Crux at least... :uhoh:

Don't worry--either of those is still possible! Of course, both of those would result in poor Hogarth's soul being trapped forever. Aww, poor guy.

So I was adding Edwyd's Pie Parade Brigade to my DM Adventure post when I realized I didn't award real-time XP. But then I looked at the dates, and my short vignette only lasted from 4-23 to 5-08, or about 2 weeks, or about half a month. So my question is... do we round up to 1 month? Do we round down to 0 months? Do we give half? And the same goes for DM credits (well, credit).

I suppose this is specifically addressed towards Bront, the Pie Parade judge. Speaking of whom, we still need you to approve the final rewards, Bront.

-------------------

On a completely unrelated matter, if Rasereit wanted to go on a quest to free his birth-mountain from the evil forces that have infested it, how would I go about doing that? This isn't near future, I don't think he's nearly powerful enough, but I would like it to happen eventually. Razh would definitely bring some help, probably in the form of adventurers from the RDI. So if I were to DM the quest, would Razh be able to gain XP? Or would I need to get somebody else to DM? Or... what.

It's no sweat to calculate XP awards by the half-month; the normal bookkeeping for them is high-precision (1 XP is a very small unit, after all). But fractions of DM credits may be a little more annoying. So, that's a good question. Should we award half-credits, which can be redeemed for half the value of a DM credit? Or round fractions below 1 credit up to 1 (but not necessarily round higher fractions up?)

Get someone else to DM it. We've had people post in this thread before about what their characters wanted to do, and had DMs step forward with an adventure to fit. If you DM, don't expect any XP for your own character (although if you want to spend your DM credits on him, that'd be OK).

I've usually rounded up to the next month, but that's in an adventure when I knew it was going to continue.

I'd round up to 1 in this case since the GM ran something...

I think I'll just ignore the real-time XP, because I was generous with the regular XP awards, all the players have moved on, and Bront just gave his seal of approval to what I already had. Besides it's just 25XP. I'll remember it next time. =P
