General Green Ronin Update

I've got a question for GR. Did you guys try talking to WotC about including their spells from non-SRD sources, like Magic of Faerun? It would have been a pleasant surprise to see those included, and I'm curious if they were at all open to talking you guys about it.

Secret College of Necromancy: It is awesome

To the Green Ronin folks, I just bought this today at my favorite hobby store here in Minneapolis. I own about 90 d20/3e products. After reading through the Secret College of Necromancy, I easily rate it among the top three things I own.

My first thought seeing it on the shelf was, "oh great, another magic accessory!" Seeing that it was authored by Wolfgang Baur and Zeb Cook was enough to get me to look at the contents. (Both have done quality stuff.) I stopped reading after a few pages because I knew right then I was going to buy it, so I did, got home and finished reading it. Its friggin' good.

Oh, now for a personal request... Since I've seen you guys do some of the best d20 stuff on the market, would you consider licensing Dark Sun? :> This necromancer class in the Secret College of Necromancy is just what I consider a Dark Sun necromancer to be. And it probably will be when I run Dark Sun campaigns. *ahem* *wink*

We did not. I just assumed that WotC would want to keep those proprietary. Now that Tome of Horrors has been announced, I have been shown what happens when one assumes. :)

If the Pocket Grimoires are successful, we'll do sequels though, so maybe we can try to swing something for the future.

Terrific. Glad you like it.

We did look into it actually, but Dark Sun is spoken for.
