To much dismay and to avoid costly litigation,
Alea Publishing Group will change the name of the
Genesis Roleplaying System at the behest of Fable Streams Entertainment, LLC, the creators of the Genesys Universal Roleplaying Game. Futhermore, we wish to state that the
Genesis Roleplaying System does not have any affiliation or relationship with Fable Streams or their upcoming RPG. In our negotiation with their counsel, Fable Streams has kindly allowed Alea Publishing Group to continue promoting the
Genesis Roleplaying System Kickstarter project, which ends Oct. 6 of this year.
We will be changing the name from the Genesis Roleplaying System to . . .
Well, that's where you come in - this is a backer only project - so only those that help fund the
Genesis Roleplaying System, irregardless of its success on Kickstarter, will be able to throw their suggestions for consideration.
We have a few names being tossed around here, but we want to hear from you before making it official - we have until October 6th - the deadline of our Kickstarter project - and you can post one or more of your suggestions on our backer's only update.

Things to consider: We have to be able to eventually trademark the name, so no Dragons & Dungeons or similar like names of already existing products. Also, this is not a contest - we reserve the rights to choose the name, even if it isn't a part of those listed here - we are only asking for suggestions for us to consider. However, with that said, if we happen to choose one of the suggested names, we might have a little something to give away.
