When I first saw this, I though it was an adaptation of Dickson's The Dragon and the George. That's a fun book I'd like to see on the big screen. Oh well...

It's so wild what I find out by surfing...

I don't know when George and the Dragon is going to be released in the USA but I'm hoping someone will post the details if they know or when they know.

Oddly, though, Nellie Bellflower who did the voice of Danielle for The Dragon and the George (the link Hyper layed on us for the animated version of the story that Sir W mistakenly expected this thread to be about) hasn't worked since that film but is the producer for a film I hadn't even heard was coming out called J.M. Barrie's Neverland (also here) which has a cast that makes me think it is not only worth seeing but potentially an award winner for Johnny Depp, if the script is as good as we all know he tries to choose. The summary for it has all the makings of an academy favorite, IMO.

Yep, I saw Flight of the Dragons when it first came out on video years ago. But after seeing the special effects of LotR, I'd still like to see a live-action version of the story.
