[German] Quick translation?

Just got this (gag) email from one of my players: Can somebody help me out with a translation?

"Ich denke, daß aus Kerker Meister heraus mit Stalin gehangen und uns eine Statue hat aufrichten wünscht, die später im Gras liegt."

Something about having "hung [my players] out [i.e., to dry?] with Stalin" or some such...? Wish my wife was home; her German's a lot sharper than mine. (No, that's not a euphemism!!]

Edit: Oh, maybe a little context might help; I just suggested to the group that we should put in place some rules to keep everyone from interrupting the game with off-topic chatter. I brought up the idea of an "OT jar" (an idea I think I got from Piratecat), wherein any player who brings up an OT topic during a session ahs to put $1 in the jar (to go toward snacks for the next session...).

First off, this is most likely a babelfish translation, not real German. I'll still try to make some sense of it, though

'I think, the DM hung out with Stalin and wanted us to erect a statue, to lie in the grass later.'

I'm not sure about the last part, though as it doesn't make much sense to me.

Maybe the players think you're going to take the money and use it to buy Pot later?

Maybe you should dig into a little history, and find out if anything Stalin did sounds like it could be vaguely related to the issue at hand.

Less literal, but closer to what they probably meant.

Now I want to know how Stalin was hung and where we find this statue which puts up wishes

And to make the thing perfect, we translate into French, then Dutch, then English

As someone who can speak minimal (and I really mean minimal) amounts of a few languages, Babelfish is my bane.

And I'm confused as to why someone's making a reference to Stalin in German. Wouldn't Russian make more sense?

Noone of them would have understood Russian. But Red Baron's wife understands German, maybe she even is German, or the Friend is.
