It sure did. For some reason, this character is giving me the hardest time to decide what kind of flavouring to use. By accident, I keep envisioning her more and more a cross between Maeve from the old Legendary Adventures of Sinbad, and Donna from That 70's Show, but a Cleric -- or a Druid. I thought about multi-classing her with Barbarian, but then she becomes more of a warrior... then again, maybe this is exactly what I need for the PC in mind. This would give him three women 'types' to pick from. As a small backstory, the PC is a bit chauvinistic -- regardless of how competent a woman is, he always feels an urge to protect her, despite her competent efforts or protests. His 'ultimate goal' is to marry all of them and arrange 'adult situations' with them... preferrably all at once. :o So, this is how 'The Three' would break down: Barb/Cleric (or Druid) - your strong, feminist (ie women are just as good as men) type who isn't afraid to stand toe-to-toe with a man, or support him if needs be (ala Cleric/Druid). She has a strong sense of honour, and doesn't like being looked down upon. Tomboyish at times. To win her heart, she must be treated as an equal in all things. (Ideally, this woman would be "the one" romantic interest for the Hero above the others, and that's what I'm pushing for. She's the hardest one to win, too) Rogue/Ranger - your sexpot blonde assassin-type who is attracted to power and wealth, so long as she gets spoiled -- ie. being showered with wealth and repaying in kind with pleasures of her own. She has a very secretive side, and is loathe to share it with anyone. To win her heart, she must be made to feel to 'belong' somewhere, to have a purpose to do things for more reasons than coin. Bard/Sorc - a latina, she is both quiet and introspective. She has a love for learning, which usually keeps her away from social situations. She would be the 'book geek', much like the librarian from "The Mummy". She loves magic in all its forms, and is a voracious reader. To win her heart, she must be shown that there is more to the world than books, and more to people than legends and statistics. Thoughts, comments?
