I will say this: Take care not to let your hobby become a labor.
It should be something you enjoy, not something you're expected to do, and it's quite difficult to manage that (especially working with young people).
I prefer to engage in a way that gives back as an act of service. The experience is more rewarding and the level of appreciation is different.
