Getting hit with an AOO before releasing touch spell

Stalker0

Legend
alright your fighting something with 10foot or more reach. you cast a touch spell and then move in, taking an AOO. you take damage, do you need to make a conc check to keep the charge or do you automatically then make the touch attack?

Based on what I've read on the rules, doens't look like you need to make a concentration check, but what do you guys think?

You are correct sir! Once the spell has been casted and the powers are transffered to the hand or whatnot, then only a successful touch attack, dismissal of the spell by the caster or Death can cause it to be lost ANYTHING else does nothing to the completion of the spell

What he said. Once the touch spell is active, only casting another spell, using the spell, dieing, or being dispelled makes it go away.

Actually, I'm not sure on the dispelling part.

It would be subject to any type of dispell, except the one that that targets ONE specific spell.

But on the main topic, yep, you are right. That's exactly how I like to do Vampiric Touch.:)
