Yikes, $20 for very limited use maps? No spank you! Not all inns, nor all roads, look the same. Unless of course every single one of your group's combats takes place in the same bar or on the same stretch of road.

In my games, if the PCs are lucky enough to make it out of the "first meeting" tavern alive, they invariably TPK on the road just outside of the tavern. We're pretty hardcore.

Yeah, I think I'll stick with Paizo's mats - which are cheaper ($12.99), larger (24x30), double-sided, and you can use wet-erase, dry-erase, and "permanent" markers.

It's one of the main reasons why Paizo continues to get my money.

To add something on topic: Yeah, I'd rather have dry-erase mats.

These are really nice if you don't already have the maps, but I think I prefer the old map pack format to these...

I'm looking forward to non-reprint maps, though.
