[GG] A game of Gods IC (Introduction)

IC: <YAWN!> at least do SOMETHING magical...turn the fire hotter, make lights appear, modesty, bah, means you can't do a THING. Bah, I shall make a note to whomever spoke to see that the entertainment here is better than what it currently be. "

He takes out a flint and steel and starts polishing his axe. "So what be this god ye be talking about human. Whom does your allegiance belong to perhaps your soul even? Whom do you call master?"

OOC: It's getting boiling in here! Where is everyone else?

"Yes, I could not have hoped that common sense or patience were virtues you possessed. I apologize for overestimating you."

"The God whom I obey is The Black Hand. I doubt there is any reason for us to convince the other of whose God is the better one, so I shall skip that part and instead ask who answers your prayers?"

[Boiling? I'd say even the stones are melting ;)]

IC: "Patience are for those with time on their hands, and right now i don't have any, i was ripped from battle and anxious to see how my people are doing. Without central leadership they be leaderless and need order."

he is still polishing while he answers

"The godess tiamat is whom my father followed and with whom my people rely on and turn to for power and strength. She has her uses and her strengths and she grants us glory and honor in battle. Dragons have the impact of fear on their enemies and it serves me to have her as the goddess of my people.

Gods rule the people, but the people rule the world, we hold sway what happens here on this earth and the gods dabble when it is needed and required, beyond that let us mortals do what needs to be done and if the gods interfere then so be it. One god or another it doesn't matter, in the end it's who lives and who dies and who holds the keys to the kingdom.

See now how sharp my axe is? Gleams in the firelight does it not? Do you use a blade....what was your name pinkflesh?"

OOC: He's on fire!

"It seems to me you do not yet fully understand the situation. An obviously powerful person has brought us here. They have served us this meal. They told us to get to know eachother, since we are going to need eachother. And you still think about that silly battle? It just seems like our priorities have been reset. I was working on something too, you know, but it can wait. Don't you think that these people have another plan for us than a simple battle?"

"My name, by the way, is Drakon. I neither carry nor use a blade. As I said, I know a few tricks, and thus I have no use for common weapons."

"You know, I am wondering why the others are not joining us...doesn't seem like they'ree hungry...ah well" Drakon shrugs and puts a slice of meat on his plate, which he then ate.

IC: "Ye speak valued words there dabbler Darkon. Seems as if I cannot irk yon ire from ye so perhaps your skin maybe thicker than what it looksssss. I would suggest the lamb, it's quite succulent and tasty but the wine leavesss much to be desssired. I too wonder why the other folk do not speak, perhaps they are awe of mine prowess? I think that it is so. Come over here yon folk, i won't bite, I promise!"

He smiles with all of his teeth baring.

He grabs a small bit of fruit and bites it in half and munches on it. "What mission ye think this be on for us? I was in battle, ye were 'occupied' doing whatever things arcanists do. I wonder what lay in store for ussss? If it does be for battle mayhap your usage of spells to crush mine enemies that lay ahead as well as those other fellows mosying around. Mayhap also these other folk have more use than what they seem, i wonder which on else is benefical to our meeting? At least the food is decent, no elven blood wine, i miss that so..."

OOC: Note the on again off again accent is on purpose. He does have a fairly high (13) Int score but sometimes the lizardman comes out instead of the drago. Not really schizophrenic, just sometimes would rather talk short and sweet and others long flowing speaches befitting one of his 'stature'.

"Well, I'm glad to find that there is some sense in you after all."

Drakon then tries the lamb.

"I do not really have an idea why we are here. They said that we are to fullfil a mission of our Gods, whatever that is. However, if nine different Gods have sent a chosen, it is most likely that they want us to strike against another God...or some other great power that might become a threat. The Shades perhaps?"

IC: "Nine gods and nine people of different gods? To what end would that be ye think? Such a gathering of folk would be most disorganized but perhaps the gods have a plan. Do ye think we be killing a mortal here? Would be going for a supernatural power? Would we be gaining anything for the gathering herein? So many questions need be answered so that a plan can be concoted to better know who and what our enemies are. The next thing to see is for whom the allegiance of our other compatriots are for. For if they be for some god with whom our gods have problems with then it is surely a big issue we shalt be dealt with. For it is not easily and humbly do gods work with each when they have conflicts with each others own ideals. "

he sips silently on his wine and ponders aloud. "Tell me about your god Drakon. What would you think Bane's purpose in all this is? Why do YOU think he would drop ye here?"

"You know Tzzach, this gathering is going to be very organized. I know that both our Gods have a strict hierarchy, and so you probably too, since I doubt a God would chose one who would be against the basics he stands for."

"I do not know our task. They will tell us what to do, in time. And, as my God has shown before, those who serve him well will be rewarded. So I am patient."

"I do not know what He hopes to gain. If I do not know against who we will be striking, how could I be able to deduct the motives that drive Him? Though I think he hopes to gain power, however he may want to achieve that, for there are many ways that eventually lead to power..."

"Can you do something else than argue over who's the strongest, or the smartest, or the best. I hope I haven't been brought here just to here you two whine all the time."

A darkskinned elf sits half on the table. She's dressed in a black armor, almost the same color as her skin.

"My name is Yalla Exodus. I'll allow you to call me Yalla, as all my friends do."

IC: "Why darkflesh Yalla do you have something important to add to our discussion? Do ye have a use on this mission for ye god whomever that may be? Or are you just here to provide a pretty sight for mine eyes for not many of your darkskinned kind have I seen by my eyes."
