[GG] A game of Gods IC (Introduction)

Yalla Fires an arrow at the fiery being and hits (18+13=31, 5+0=5 damage). The arrow hits one of the arms of the being but falls out almost imediatly, you see the wound closing up fast. It seems to have no effect whatsoever on the being.

Next up: Drakon (allready acted, just watching and readies an action)
Next up: Gabriël
and Tzzarch after that.

[OoC: No sneak attack damage?]

For the next round, Yalla will hide again, studying her opponent. She'll draw her dagger and put away her bow as well.
"That didn't go as planned...."

I'm sorry, no sneak attack, you were busy hiding when he was allready there, so he knows that you are in the room, and the genral direction you are. You either have to flank him with gabriel, tzzarch or by sneaking over to the other side of the room unseen (he watches your spot, but if you crawl opposite of that spot, he'll be looking in the wrong direction all together.) I'll try to draw a basic image of the room and post it, not sure if that will work though.

Gabriel Thorn

Gabriel reels back from the monsters blow, "Urrg." An instant later he composes himself and carefully limps back about 25 feet. As he shuffles backwards away from the creature he reaches into the empty quiver on his back and a heavy looking composite short bow appears in his hand. The insant he stops, Gabriel pulls an arrow, nocks and looses in one swift motion. Even at point blank range he takes care not to hit his comrades. The arrow crackles with energy as it flys toward it's mark.

[OOC: my BAB is high enough to draw a weapon as part of a move, if i can't back out with no AOO he's my dodge victim. I'm taking the -4 to hit for firing into melee, if nessary. The shot will also be point blank, an additional +1 to hit and dmg.]

As Gabriel staggers back, the creature straightens it back. He laughs at you. You hear a voice (check: knowledge religion: Drakon ONLY (2+9=11) You realize this is a voice of a god, and probarly one of the voices you heard earlier. You do not know which god it is, but your character can add 1 and 1 to get 2 :D)

YOU CANNOT EVEN TAKE ON ONE OF MY WEAKER CREATURES. I TOLD YOU THAT ONE WOULD GO QUICKEST!

During the speach, Gabriel has take out his bow and shoots at the creature (9+16 (no melee, point blank)=25 Hits) (damage= 1+5+6 (shocking)=12). The arrow hits the creature and plunges right into the leg of it. You see small sparks going up an ddown the leg, as well as molten lava pouring out of the wound the arrow made.

At the same time as the Molten lava starts flowing, A loud voice at the other side of the table yells something to the wizard and then lets out a great howl as jumps on the table and runs to the creature. He lifts his great axe and lets it rain down on the being.
(12+18 (no flanking, no charge)=30 hits) (damage=7+13+2 acid= 22) The Blade of the axe sinks deep in the back of the being.

OOC: gabriel wouldn't have had a AOO because he is three sizes smaller as the fiery being. (page 130, DMG)

[are you sure that activating the quiver is a free action? normally, command word activation = standard action...]

Janos is right, although I'll rule that it is allowed this one time, form now on, you have to state in what form your quiver is.

IC: "Skulls for the throne of Tzzarch!!!" the scaled one howls as he begins to slice deep into the flesh of the flaming creature! "None shall stand in my, run now lavaspawn lest ye be taken down with mine axe and my might!!!!"

OOC: I kill this thing till it's dead and stay on the OPPOSITE side of the bowmen!!! And y'all thought there was going to be no killing!! MUHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!

NOTE: How tall is gab compared to this thing. Gab is human and medium so this thing would be colossal?? medium, large, huge etc..

OOC: the exact size is Gargantuan. Although the description of huge, gigantic and so on are should give away that it is very big.
