[GG] A game of Gods IC (Introduction)

Drakon finishes his glass of wine. "Ah, well, guess I'll join the fun then."

He walks towards the creature, activates his bladed boot, and starts kicking at it ... awkwardly.

OOC: Okay Drakon, This places you last in the line of initiative.

Drakon attempts hitting with it's bladed boos, but the creature is too fast for him to hit. (2-1=1 (not proficient), misses)

The creature looks down upon him, with an evil Grin.

Next up: Yalla (venus) and the monster after that.
You can state your actions even if it is not your turn. But stated actions that I have processed cannot be turned back. If something big occurs, I'll allow to choose another action.

"Hmm, so it thinks it knows where I am huh... not for long he won't."

Yalla almost across the room, staying low and making sure she's not heard. From there she'll have a better chance of inflicting damage on the thing.

[OoC: Hide to move trough the room, including Move Silently. Both +29]

The being constantly keeps check of the area where Yalla is supposed to be.

Opposed Hide/spot roll (Yalla: 6+29=35, being: 18+26=44)
Opposed Move Silently/listen roll (Yalla: 1+29 = 30 (critical failure) Being: 10+26= 36)
Yalla moves very carefully to the other side of the room, keeping a good eye on the creature. She notices that the creature's eyes are following his movements. Suddenly she trips over a human skull (blame Tzzarch for that one, hehehe) making alot of noice. Yalla swears she could make out a smile between the flames on the beings face. She knows she is discovered. (you are now at exactly the oposite place as before, but it has no effect (this round does count as observing your victim)

The creature also seizes up the other combatants, deciding to let gabriel do whatever he wishes (obviously weakened, he is no challenge anymore.) (OOC: I'll throw who get's attacked, sometimes leaving out someone, give someone a bigger chance to get attacked or automaticly saying that one character gets hit. (intelligent creatures trying to kill will target light armored spellcasters most likely, although this isn't one of them.)

The being grins down at Drakon again,, and attacks him head on!
All four his attacks hit the character (Hits AC: 41, 31, 17, 22) Damage (8D8 + 8D8+26 Fire = 97) After the flurry of fury blows Drakon lies on the ground, charred to a crisp, DEAD.

The Voices can be heard again:

VERY CLEVER GUY, GOING TOE TO TOE WITH SOMETHING 10 TIMES AS BIG AS YOU ARE. YOU SPOKE SO HIGHLY OF HIS INTELLIGENCE, HAH! WE'LL RESURRECT HIM LATER ON. BUT HE COULD DO BETTER, WAY BETTER

The voices have changed a bit. At first they were multiple voices speaking synchronically (at the same time, sp?) but now one or more voices seems to fall away adrees the other voices directly.

OOC: Janos, this was entertainment as well as a test, although you suffer no direct concequences, you have dropped in the standing of your god, an probarly the party.
BTW this is a downgraded CR 11 creature. (although changed in a lot of assets).

IC: He laughs at the fallen mage. "Another weakling falls in battle! May your god show punish you for failure on the other side! Death to mine enemies!!!" he attacks with most fervor slicing and hacking away at the creature.

OOC: Can you make a crit failure with a skill. I always understood that you only critically failed saves and attacks not skills and that a 1 was just a one. Also isn't Yalla a she? hehe....the drow got a sex change....hahahaha!

Edited all the he's to she's, sorry yalla!

And with me, everything can be a crit failure (or crit succes) but crits on skills are explained in the PHB or DMG, somewhere, and maybe an optional rule.
