[GG] A game of Gods IC (Introduction)

Yopu should know (and maybe you've noticed) that I twist the rules (generally in favor of the players) to attain the best gaming environment. For instance, the being you wrere originally set against would be better, but after seeing waht it did, I decided to lower the AC, the hitpoints and a few special abilities.

And about optional rules: I generally play with the rules I am used to (form my previous DM) and the ones I like.

I'm not a rules lawyer, and that's because I don't know them so I have to improvise. My PnP games are even more like that, but my players approve of it.

If you have abything against plz say so, I'll try to please every player I have (within reason)

Gabriel Thorn

Janos is right, although I'll rule that it is allowed this one time, form now on, you have to state in what form your quiver is.

[OOC: My mistake, i thought it worked like a bag of holding, you reach in and whatever you need apeasrs in hand. I assume it's now set to my arrows?]

"I'm not though yet, moster!" Gabriel lets two arrows fly at the fiery creature one after the other.

[OOC: on his init anyway.]

"Blah, what's wrong with me, come on Yalla, focus!"

Again Yalla ducks out of sight, trying to lose the creature's eyes. She watches the creature very closely, holding her dagger in her hand.

[OoC: Observing opponent again, moving around the room again to shake off the creature. Hide & Move Silent +29, Death Attack Round 2]

New initiative
Yalla: 28 (16)
Fiery Being: 26
Gabriel 11 (6)
Tzzarch: 5 (1)
Drakon: acted after Tzzarch, dead now.

Gabriel is up.

He gets two arrows out, and shoots them both at the creature. One arrow hits the creature straight in its chest (17+15= Hit) and the other one mages to hit the stomach of the creature (17+10=hit) (damage: 2D6+8+2D6 shock=8+8+9= 25) (the creature has had: 12+22+25=59 HP) Due to the blows from the arrows, the creaure is finally starting to feel his wiunds, and acts a liitle more cautious (OOC: not dead yet)

When Tzzarch feels his enemy a changing pace, he renews his attack with great fury. He let's two great blows come down on the creature (8+18=hit, 16+13=hit, no flanking, drakon is dead)) (damage= 2D8+26+2D6 acid= 7+26+7=40) The creature is now heavily bleeding molten lava from his back. And begins to stagger a bit, although he is still standing.

Venus tries to sneak to the other side ofthe room again
Opposed hide/spot check: (Yalla: 20+29=49 Being: 6+26)
Yalla slides into the shadows as if she had been born there. Nobody sees her now.
Opposed move silently/listen check: Yalla: 12+29=31 Being: 2+26=28)
Yalla sees the creaure still checking the area she was in. Even when she has reached the other side of the room, the creature does not notice her.
(OOC: next round you can aatck with your deat attack, I assume you want to kill him, not paralyze)

The being looks around, seeing only two combatants (where did that dark elf go?) left. He hesitates between them, wanting to teach Gabriel a lesson, but also wanting to revenge the mighty blows from Tzzarch. (1,2,3 on D6 is Gabriel, 4,5,6 is Tzzarch. result = 4). The being turns to Tzzarch and ounds on him with all his strength. (hits: 41, 35, 31, 22 VS AC 31) (Damage: 6D8 + 6D8+9 Fire= 25+29+9=63) Three of the four attack form the creature hit, leaving three dark wounds on tzzarchs skin.

Gabriel next, then tzzarch and the Yalla's death attack.

IC: He roars in pain as he feels the heat and lava burn his scaled flesh and renews his quest to destroying this creature where it stands!!!

OOC: 2/3 of my life on one hit and no cleric this is gonna hurt!!! Time to send the drow out front on scouting missions from now on!

[OoC Yalla will indeed use her Death Attack. She'll charge (+2), making sure she's flanking with someone (+2). That'll bring her total bonus to +19, DC18 for Death Attack. Also, Sneak Attack +5d6.]

"Better Yalla... better. Now focus, don't let this creature get away."
