Ghostly PCs

Anyone know of a good source for applying the Ghost template incrimentally, as if it was a class? I am aware of the SKR Savage Progression on the WoC site, but its not really what i am looking for, no BAB or Saves. So, any other sources?

The ghost template doesn't give base attack or save bonuses because it doesn't give a character any hit dice - which is the only source from which base attack and save progressions derive.

The Savage Progressions version is all there is, I'm afraid, unless someone out there has written a different ghost that does have "racial" hit dice.

I'll second the Ghostwalk campaign. Be careful though. Some PCs can get a bit too powerful. I MUST remember to kill my players more often. :)

Are the Ghostwalk rules useful if you aren't playing in Manifest (the city IIRC)? And doesn't it basically just make you a normal PC with a different kind of body?

You have a couple of routes to go. First, you could tie the special abilities of Manifest to any location you want...Palanthus...Haven...Waterdeep....Ten Towns .... Hyrule....Rivendell...any place you want. Another route you could go is giving the PCs a magic item that grants the same benefits of Manifest. That's the route I choose. My players haven't figured it out yet. Hopefully they don't read this board. :)

ANd yes...they do have a different body. Its made of ectoplasm but looks like the gear they were wearing when they died. Of course its not functional so they must put on their armor or packs. Of course they can only do this if they are "manifested," otherwise they are incorporeal. The point of the setting is to give rules for a location with "ghosts." You can adapt the rules to any setting giving a loaction as "creepy" a feel as you like. :)
