Didn't they spam here a month or so ago? (or maybe RPG.net, before they kicked me out...)

Yes, about a month ago they had some posts that were spam-like in nature and I believe those threads were closed. Then Dragon (and Dungeon) I believe had ads for their site this past month and the name has started to resurface. It looks like a thread is starting to survive here:

I run GhostOrb.com, and for the record, some of our over-zealous pre-regs did come on here and preach the Gospel according to GhostOrb pretty hard. Their timing couldn't have been worse as we were about to purchase banner ads on this site. We halted that after the spamming, as we weren't sure if the Enworlders would respond after the insult.
Personally, I can't stand those kinds of posts in forums and we're sorry that it happened. That was really early on in the beginning of the marketing for GhostOrb, and I guess those people were just worried that we didn't have a development or marketing budget. I don't remember discussing forum spamming at any of the marketing meetings (maybe I was hung-over or out sick that day...)
That doesn't mean that they need to "help" us advertise. (Some help is actually worse than none!) And we're sorry that anyone felt they needed to help us out by annoying you guys. It was sweet of them if misguided. At least, I think they meant well.
