D&D 5E Giant Ant

I was also break it up to 3 entries and give the soldiers a bit more strength and constitution. A CR1 soldier can have 5HD and be a good threat for PCs while a worker with 2HD is still as big a threat as a guard or skeleton. I would give the worker a +4 or even +3 to hit and not +5 like the soldier. The queen could be a CR3 monster with 12HD and a acid spray attack that recharges, or is a lair action. You could even make a queen soldier type that is a more powerful soldier.

Extra creepy are modified ants like slave giant fire ants with acid spray and poison as well as pack tactics. Bullet ants are furry and can live in cold climates or such. I could also see creatures using them as mounts and slave labor, like drow using them as guard dogs or something.

Or the other way around. The queen ant has dominated the Drow and they are her slaves. Just to turn things around and break expectations. :)

Blindness Immunity seems strange, since ants often rely upon their sense of sight (albeit rather poor). Charm Immunity seems strange, if only because ant slaves and ant mounts occupy a cute niche in fantasy.
