Girallon's Blessing and Fuse Arms

With Time Stop and prep rounds, needing 4 spells to get a +10 to strength (not including what the +20 or more that Righteous Might and Shapechange will give) isn't that big of a deal. And a DC 19 Will save will only be faile on a 1.

So the only time that these spells together might cause a problem is pretty much in an epic arena? I can deal with that ;)

Otherwise though, yeah, fairly worthless spells. At pre-epic levels a dc 19 save can still cause a problem for most characters, especially after a couple of enervations ;)

Still, it just sounds like a valid tactic, that is hard to pull off. At that high of levels there are lots of combos, and most have to be pushed around a bit, but I am unsure if they will cause any problems in a more.. well.. low level campaign.... have you had any feel there? (shapechange is pretty well broken all by itself, saying that other spells are broken in combination with it definately doesnt take a huge leap ;) )

Oh I'm sorry, I didn't realize we were giving our eample characters negative levels before seeing if the fail their save... ;)

I haven't had any problems with it in a low level campaign, but that's only because my gaming group hasn't tried to use it yet.

My example used Shapechage simply because its the most frequently used form altering spell at Exodus. You could just as easily become an anthropomorphic squid via polymorph (or maybe even alter self, I don't remember what type the anthropomorphic animals are). Or you could already have extra limbs via your race (after all, we are discussing Savage Species here).

I'm glad you haven't had any problems with the spell. I prefer to nip it in the bud and save myself the hassle later on. :)

And I didnt realize that everyone and their grandma had at least +18 to will saves all of the time ;) So it is all fair.

you say you want to nip the spell in the bud though, it seems like the only problems happen at so high of levels to not really matter, so I see no reason to nip it..lol..

Especially with the squid ;) good luck staying out of the water and walking around when you lost most of your limbs. I dont care what your strength is, you are in trouble if you arent in water, and even there loss of those limbs will hinder your swimming greatly.
