Githzerai Special Abilities

Forgive me if this has been asked before, but I've got a PC in my group that wants to play a Githzerai character. I don't have a problem with it, (Given a 2 level adjustment, as recommended), but which set of powers should I use?

The Manual of the Planes has Feather Fall, Daze and Shatter, while the Psionic's Handbook has Feather Fall, Far Punch and something else that isn't coming to mind (I don't have the books in front of me).

Can anyone point me to an "official" answer to this question? My inclination is to use the Psionic's Handbook, since it seems that the powers given in the Manual of the Planes are only given in case the user doesn't have the Psionic's Handbook.

Thanks,
Saphon

The other ability that is slipping your mind is the 5th level spell(?) Telekinesis cast as a 16th level sorcerer.

Manual of the Planes version might be safer.

There is no "official" answer per se. It depends on which book(s) you use, really.

Yeah, make sure to house-rule telekinesis if you allow githyanki/githzerai PCs. My suggestion would be to restrict the number of weapons that can be hurled using TK to one per caster level.

Thanks guys. My mind has developed all kinds of interesting ideas throwing the Gith into a campaign that didn't originally have them... so this will be interesting.

I'll take the TK warning.

Grazie,
Saphon
