blargney the second
blargney the minute's son
I was recently playing a flash-based rpg, and noticed that once again I have a marked preference for a particular combination of mechanical abilities:
- high hit points
- good defenses
- strong attacks, ideally melee
- healing (for self and allies)
- buffing (for self and allies)
...and yet I've never ever played a paladin in any edition of D&D, either tabletop or videogame. Clerics have been rare as well - really, anything divine.
Does anybody else have a curious absence like that?
