Wow!

What a great gladiator. I have a feeling that the next time we run the Gladiator arena we might see this guy going against our PC's (I'm one of the players in BFG's campaign).

As soon as I get my character sheet back I'll post him here. Or, if you want BFG, you can post him for me.

Courn is a smooth young elf who fancies himself a ladies man. Drawn to the gladiatorial games by the promise of fame and wealth (but mostly fame), Courn plans to take full advantage of the perks offered by the arena lifestyle. More hot-headed than wise, this is not his family’s first career choice for him.


Courn uses his prized Boots of Speed to great effect, appearing out of nowhere, striking his foes, and then retreating out of harms way before they can lay a finger on him. Courn will liberally use his prestidigitation spell ability to make sure he always looks and smells as good as possible.

Signature move: Courn always has plenty of fresh roses available to lie upon his dispatched foes. He will occasionally favor a particularly comely “fan” with a gift of a rose – and perhaps a whisper of a naughty suggestion.

Quiet and polite, Tymtu will always bow to the crowd. Tymtu will play with an opponents shadow at the beginning of a match, making it cower or run away in fear. Sometimes he will make his own shadow appear as a large dragon, swallowing his foe in its jaws.

Winning initiative is important to Tymtu. He will usually try to immediately stun an opponent, then immediately follow up with another stun etc… If that fails, his favorite tactic is to use the haste power of his Monk’s Belt to attacking an opponent, then move well out of his foe’s attack range. The monk will only use his potions of Flaming Fist if nothing else seems to be working.

Signature move: Tymtu likes to hit a weakened foe with a successful stunning attack, and then take him out with a spinning roundhouse kick utilizing his furry of blows capabilities. Tymtu will always bow to his opponent as he sits defeated in the dust before walking out of the arena with his head hung low. He never expresses emotion himself, only utilizing his Control Shadow psionic ability to silently “show off”.
