Glamered armour special quality

The description of the Glamered armour special quality says:

A suit of armor with this ability appears normal. Upon command, the armor changes shape and form to assume the appearance of a normal set of clothing.

I'm wondering whether it always appears as the same set of clothing (presumably detemined at the time of creation), or can the wearer decide what the "clothes" will look like?

What about weight, and sleeping in it? Does anything other than look change? Do you still clank around in "Full plate" shirts?

Just the look changes. The enhancement doesn't reduce the armor's type, or ACP in any way. So yes, you still clank around in a suit if glammored full plate even when it looks like a string bikini.

If you want super stealthy oh-look-I'm-not-really-armoed full plate, you have to invest in additional options, like Silence.

I actually had this question just a little while ago actually. Glad someone posted it since I had totally forgotten.

As for the answer, I'm not sure but I think that it would probably appear as the same set of clothing.

Its all about sleeping in glamoured chain shirts that look like pijamas, its a life saver sometimes as well.

3.0 Defenders of the Faith. Cost: +1 bonus. It allows you to call your armor from up to a mile away as a standard action. It appears correctly donned at the end of the action.
