GLEE #28: Never Been Kissed

Is New Directions ever going to have enough members for regionals? Puck is finally back from Juvi (in reality, Mark Salling was promoting his new album), but Kurt may move to another school! At least he gets a new boyfriend out of it.

This episode also takes on bullying, which I'm guessing is why Kurt leaves, a topic that has been in the news lately.

The playlist:

The Dalton Academy glee club sings "Teenage Dream", originally performed by Katy Perry.

Puck and Artie sing "One Love", originally performed by Bob Marley

The girls do a mashup of "Start Me Up", originally performed by the Rolling Stones, and "Living On a Prayer", originally performed by Bon Jovi (don't know if it can top Jimmy Fallon's version)

The boys do a mashup of "Stop In the Name of Love", originally performed by the Supremes, and "Free Your Mind", originally performed by En Vogue

I'll have my pick for best performance after the show.

Pick of the Episode: Sorry girls, but the boys won the mash-up contest again. However, the Dalton Academy Warblers are going to be formidable competition. I can't wait to see the other group they're competing against.

Some of the best acting so far this season, imho. Now, if they'd only get some cohesive plot, we'd be ding well.

Well the performances were great. Still, it was the lowest rated Glee, so the formula might be wearing thin..

Yes, well, I'd expect the ratings for this episode to be low - because the last episode wasn't very good. See my previous statement about plot. They need some goals and clear (and some not-so-clear) obstacles for the characters to be working through.
