GLEE #49: The First Time

Someone loses their virginity in tonight's episode as work on the musical progresses and the Kurt-Blaine romance hits an obstacle (no pun intended).

By the way, can we please put --30-- to the Quinn-Puck-Shelby storyline, which was stupid to begin and is now getting dangerously close to Nip/Tuck territory? Why can't they use the time wasted on this to, say, give Tina a storyline?

Unless otherwise specified, all of the songs in this episode are from West Side Story.

The Dalton Academy Warblers sing "Uptown Girl", originally performed by Billy Joel

"America" -- Santana, Puck, Tina, Rory Flanagan, Brittany, Quinn, and Mike

"A Boy Like That" -- Rachel and Santana

"One Hand, One Heart" -- Rachel and Blaine

"Tonight" -- Rachel and Blaine (Seriously Glee? They already did this song! It's bad enough that Tina doesn't get to sing more without them giving away her songs -- they're also planning to do "I Kissed a Girl" again; why can't they use the Jill Sobule song of the same name? If I were Tina, I'd probably go over to the other glee club.)

And, is Kevin McHale busy with some other project, such that he's "Mr. Not Appearing In This Programme"? When was the last time he had a song?

I was really supprised that

[sblock] Rachel didn't at least try to sleep with Blaine before the performance since both were still virgins then. I wasn't looking for a serious attempt but I expected for comical reasons her to at least bring it up in the conversation. [/sblock]

Anything that allows Dianna Agron to have more screen time is ok by me.
