Globe of Invulnerability: 10' radius sphere on a gargantuan creature?

This may seem like a dumb question...
Globe of Invulnerability has an area of a "10-ft.-radius spherical emanation, centered on you", but what if a gargantuan creature cast the spell?

Then the spell has no effect out of the box... except, perhaps, on stuff that the creature swallows, or that try to shrink it, or whatever.

Meaning it goes out an additional 10' beyond the creature, regardless of size? The problem is that's not what the spell says . I think yours would be the "common sense" answer, but it's not what's stated within the spell.

IIRC, it affects the creature's space, but no further.

Consider antimagic field (same area). From the SRD:

Should a creature be larger than the area enclosed by the barrier, any part of it that lies outside the barrier is unaffected by the field.
