GMs: What (across all editions) was your favorite adventure to RUN?

I had a blast combining two Planescape adventures... "Umbra" (Dungeon #55 , by Chris Perkins) and some of the adventures from "Hellbound: the Blood War" (by Colin McComb & Monte Cook).

But I'm a homebrewer at heart...so I'd have to say that whatever homebrew adventure I'm running at the time is the one I like best ;)

Probably my first big D&D adventure, the 6-part White Dwarf adventure 'Irillian'. I ran that a couple times. After that, my most-played adventure, The Shrine of Kollchap from What is Dungeons & Dragons? (1983). :)

Of published TSR stuff, hm - X2 Castle Amber was fun, and I enjoyed B5 Horror on the Hill and U1 The Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh a lot.

I have not run or played Red Hand of Doom, the only WotC-published adventure that seems widely regarded as a classic. Necromancer's Lost City of Barakus is a bit bland in places, ugly wilderness map,but gave me a very solid nearly two-year campaign. I'm currently playing Paizo's Rise of the Runelords and it looks good so far.

I honestly haven't run a large number of modules, but of those I have, I think Paizo's Free RPG Day item two years back is my absolute favorite. I positively ADORE "We Be Goblins!" and would run it any time, any place, for anyone. My players and I giggled our way through it, loving every over-the-top, goblin-y moment. *So much fun.* I've actually got two players asking me to run it again with another group.

I very rarely GM but I enjoyed running Under a Metal Sky for Dread. I ran it twice for two different groups and it was entertaining to see the creative interpretations that the different groups brought to their characters and to the setting as a whole. I don't think I'll ever GM regularly but those experiences make me eager to run more often.

Another one for I6 Ravenloft...pretty much best balance of everything, overall.

Honorable mention goes to Fiery Dragons NeMoren't Vault (3E), WG4 Temple of Tharizdun (both the giant bash part and the spookey old temple bit are great, even if they don't hang together perfectly), and the 4E RPGA version of Tomb of Horrors (which is different then the 4E book Tomb of Horrors, which is also pretty good but not as good overall).

I am guessing you mean D&D, but my favorite adventure to run for Elric! was called The Suffer Glass,
Followed by a close second the supplement Perils of the Young Kingdoms

Of Sound Mind is an awesome 1st-level adventure for beginning PCs. I've run it once in my first 3E campaign and once as one-shot, and look forward to running it for my current group once we finish this campaign and start a new one from scratch.
