looked like somebody put a gnome hat on a largish monkey to me. That sideways hopping walk, the ears you can see at one point in the film flopping around. I need to slow it down and see if a tail is visible anywhere in the film that would clinch it. But it really looks like somebody used their pet monkey to have some fun scaring fools.

By the look of this video, kids are pranking their local media. Looks like they dressed up one of these guy kid brother and went Blair Witch project on him, even going so far as making an abrupt unexplained cut in the video. Then they claim that they were 'terrorized' and revel in the attention. Come on, teens seeing that thing for real would run at it with sticks to poke it.

South Americans teen should develop better hobbies, like, say, D&D.

I did hear of a story once where people would tranqualize monkeys, dress them up in clown outfits, then they would wake up and walk around in them... Hmmmm....
