I run a game of 7 players currently at 13-18 level. The other day I had them wake up and their characters were two years older and they had no memory of the past two years. Obviously they were freaked out a bit. However everything seems to be OK. They are more wealthy, gained 2 levels, and everything seems to be on the up and up.
I have some good plot lines to work with here so I have a good idea mapped out for why they lost 2 years worth of memory. But I was wondering if anyone has any neat thoughts on how to play with this.
So far I know that their Gods, Silvanus and Meilikki, are in on it and helped with the amnesia, but other than sticking with that does anyone have any cool plot twists I can throw in?
I don't want my current explanation to fall short of their expectation so I'm up for something crazy
