[QUOTE="zouron, post: 2558741, member: 920"] Well for me it seems more often then not the real problem is not that people are god, but the fact they advertise it far and wide, in fact I will go as far to say that this is the problem with all beyond a certain power level/type characters is that some people shout far and wide they are super strong tough cool characters that demands attention. Having played a few "god" characters myself (zouron and then later alex silvermoon) I was rarely actually given any heat for playing such, especially zouron was successful even though he acted most of the time totally alien manipulating and threatening to most people around him, especially those that did socialize. The fact I didn't get a lot of flaming with him I believe is that I neither kept shouting out to the room that he in the real of a god power wise, of course on the other hand he never denied it either. I must say that yes he was chosen due to his undefeatability, but he has also provided some of the most memorable moments on this site for me, way more then most of my more human characters. Of course the question most ask is "why does a god come here???" well there are other gods, angels, people who changes the face of the worlds they are from, so why not? besides there is no rule that in all games that a god can only manifest one form in one place at a time, so they might be 10 or 20 or more then one can understand places at once. Now I wouldn't argue for that everyone should make up a god (the gods knows that is why I mostly took out zouron), however I will say don't judge a character just because they say they are gods, like moondyre, some are played human, others might be played rather inhuman (my character zouron) others are just played silly (no example given :p) and it is those you should strike at rather then all in my (not so) humble opinion. Of course gods do stand in sharp contrast to the more and more dominate desire of the ISRP people using the boards that all characters should be flawed regular john does (this is simplified of course), but just remember that not everyone likes these types of heroes nor to play them, heck some just want to be themselves in some cool versions of how they envision themselves on site and there need to be a room for all. If you really burn for the more silly types to vanish tell them it, help them understand why they are alienating themselves, maybe they aren't from their crowd maybe they are, but the ones causing the trouble are the ones to address IMHO. well enough babble from the Z today ;) BTW moondyre was always a cool character :) and I could say a lot of other nice things about said character (but I wouldn't).
