I recently bought a great skeleton miniature that has a gold sword. I really want to use it, that's why I am asking all these questions.
If a gold long sword is made from the Magic of Faerun book it costs 7,000+gp. It bumbs the damage up from 1d8 to 2d6 becsuase it is heavier. It also requires a Exotic Wepon Feat to use it.
I am pretty sure about all of the above. Here are my questions: does the weapon get masterwork status? Is it +1 to hit? Do you need to spend an extra 300gp to make it masterwork? Is the weapon designed specifically to NOT grant the +1 to hit? If so why?
Thanks.
