Good Aquatic Monsters (Deep Water and Shoals players, keep out plz)

Exactly what the title says.

I'm running a swashbuckling/seafaring campaign, and I need good, interesting, and just plain odd sea creatures/races/what-have-you.

Hmm... I would say you should look through the Creature Catalog first, and then browse the homebrews section of the creature catalog forums, you might find something there you could use...

I would suggest putting in a few unique aquatic monsters like Slarkrethal a unusal gigantic many tentacled Kraken mage of high level who is also a chosen of the Goddess of the Sea and the secret leader of a notorious society of information gathers who love blackmailing local leaders.

Or the giat turtle dragon that lives near the Sea Tower of Irphong, an enormous specimen of his species, said to be triple the normal dragon turtle size, with a treasure horde that would make Tiamat jealous.

And don't forget the Gargantuan Reptilian of the deep "a.k.a. Godzilla", or the Levithan the Oceans mightest and biggest Whale.

Well ... always one to hawk products that I helped make monsters for, I would have to direct you to check out Mongoose Publishing's Seas of Blood.

The Fisherman in particular would make a nifty monster for a swashbuckling campaign.
