Good Communication

G'day!

I just wanted to express my pleasure at reading the articles by Mike Mearls and Rodney Thompson (primarily Legends & Lore and Rule of Three).

These columns have reassured me that D&D Next is in the right hands, and gave me great insight into what's happening at Wizards of the Coast - both with D&D Next and with current D&D (although, admittedly, Rule of Three has moved towards a lot of Next coverage of late).

I consider it extremely important that the communication from Wizards to the players of D&D be clear.

For me, at least, it has been - and I hope this continues in the future.

Cheers!

I completely agree. The articles, the survey, the playtest rules, it's all been pleasantly clear (for the most part). I'm very pleased with the direction this edition is taking.

This is the WotC I knew we could have, open, honnest, and helpful. If they keep this up what will we complain about...;)

in all honesty I think they need a big way to go...

3 cheers for WotC team

Agreed.

I feel there is more they could do in this respect--particularly, I wish they would step up and "own" WotC's business decisions with the same grown-up tone that Vic Wertz of Paizo uses.

But that doesn't in any way detract from the awesomeness that is the L&L blog.

I admit... it's particulalry nice to find myself looking forward to each new article, checking every couple days to see what's new. Since I'm not a 4E player, it's been a while since I've had that feeling. I agree, Merric... they seem to be handling it quite nicely, and I am excited by the material we've seen thus far.
