Good d20M one-shots

I'll probably be running one ro more one-shot d20M adventures to acclimatize my group to the system. Inspired by the Drunk Southern Girls story hour, I was planning to go with a converted Exit 23 from the Dark*Matter setting, but I'm also looking at some of the freebie adventures on the WotC site.

Anyone have any picks or pans among these? Anyone have other sources for some free adventures they'd like to reccomend?

I dunno about 'free'... but Quickshots: Mission File Alpha is 20 one shot adventures for $4.95, if I'm not much mistaken, at RPGNow...

I did take a look at that, but the reviews over at RPGNow are mixed enough that I'm a little hesitant, even if it is only $4.95. Anyone with this product have any comments?

A great one shot "zombie" type adventure is "Weekend Warrior". You can find it at RPGNow.com. I plan on running this myself.
I realy like the fact that if a player becomes "zombified" he can then help the GM make life harder for the remaining "living" players

I do have Quickshots: Alpha... it's well worth the $4.95...
Dana Jorgensen described it as something any GM could come up with after watching direct to video B movies, and drinking MT Dew.... Well... there's 20 of those 15 minute time savers in there. :)

For the record, so there's no mistake, I edited Quickshots, but I don't make anything off of the sales.

I was flipping through the March 2004 Dungeon issue (with Dark*Matter) and I found myself greatly inspired by that Arctic research base. Stick the PCs in there, through in some zombies or something, add a few underground tunnels and a blizzard and voila...instant one-shot.

I love the Global Positioning and Maps of Mystery maps for this very reason...each one is a one-shot just waiting to happen. Remember the high school awhile back? Fill it with zombies and...ah, you get the point. :p

I'm kind of trying to avoid zombies. :) I just don't want it to be too much like "modern D&D". I mean, we're battlig the hrodes of Orcus in our D&D campaign, so we get more than enough undead on a regular basis.

But, hey, a good adventure is a good adventure.

Hmm.. good question. I'm pretty sure it has 2 or 3 without 'monsters' per se (bad humans, as the antagonists, I think)... but it's been some time since I edited it....
