Good news - Battlestar Galactica on TV. Bad news...

Plane Sailing

Astral Admin - Mwahahaha!
It was with great joy I noticed that BG was starting on Sky Three this week (which in the UK is available on Freeview digital).

Excellent, I thought. Having sat through the first two episodes though I wonder whereabouts in the series they are starting it, since it clearly isn't the beginning!

We had the episode where a ship gets left behind at a jump and then turns up late and Apollo and Starbuck are ordered to destroy it, and the episode where (presumably) Boomer has been subconsciously stealing detonators and destroying the BG water supply.

So whereabouts in the whole BG universe do these episodes sit? I'm getting the feeling that I've already seen 'spoilers' for some events earlier on in the series, and I'm wondering whether to stick with it or wait until I can get the first series on DVD.

Unless it really DID start by jumping in like mad!

Cheers

OK, I've just googled an episode guide and it turns out that there was a two part miniseries that preceded it. Obviously I'm going to have to try to get hold of those!

Cheers

Those are the first two episodes of season 1, "Thirty-Three" and "Water" (if I'm not wrong about the titles- I didn't bother to Google 'em).
